foraging for wood sorrel
Wood sorrel is apparently a great little wild food and I saw lots of it in the Lake District. I would have foraged and blogged about it but I was having far too much fun celebrating my sister’s wedding. This little clump of wood sorrel was in the grounds of her wedding venue at Briery Wood Hotel and I spotted it when we were having a walk the night before her wedding. It was chucking it down at the time, as you might be able to tell from the photo, but luckily all the rain was gone the next day.
I wonder if we’ll ever see some wood sorrel in Rabbitswood, I’ll certainly be keeping my eyes open for it…until I do here’s some tips and advice from Harrison Murray who did forage it!
